Join a half-day trip to the countryside of Santorini where the majority of the vineyards are located. Learn about the ancient vineyard, the history of the island through the centuries and how the volcanic soils influence the winemaking.

The day starts with a visit to an actual vineyard on the volcanic soils where you will see the low vines and learn about the local viticulture that makes vine-growing in Santorini unique worldwide, in every aspect. During the tour you will visit 3 traditional wineries & cellars of Santorini, learn parts of the island’s history through the winemaking and taste all the major wine styles of Santorini such as Assyrtiko, Nykteri, Vinsanto and selective Greek wine labels. You will also visit a traditional village, and taste local delicacies -cheese, salami and Greek olives.
